U.S. Soldier In Afghanistan

In late autumn 2009 Marco Di Lauro, a staff photographer Getty Images, spent several days together with soldiers of the U.S. Army in Korengal Valley, Afghanistan. The result was his report about the very difficult life and service of the Americans in Afghanistan. Looking at these pictures, we can conclude that the war for the U.S. with the Taliban is not easy. It is a pity in the 1980’s there were no such reports, when the army is tied down in Afghanistan, the Soviet Union. Frankly, I do not really understand why the politicians of the United States needs, Afghanistan, which has almost no resources.
